House of Prayer Belize

House of Prayer is the oldest original Mayan Church in Southern Belize.  Our church is headquartered in Punta Gorda Town and is lead by Senior Pastor John Shol. The primary goal of the House of Prayer is to be a conduit of God’s love and salvation to the communities they serve. The role of the church is to be the moral compass of the community and set the standard for what Christian living should look like. Aside from the expected services of a church like weddings and baptisms, the House of Prayer churches also serve their communities by looking after the elderly and shut-ins and providing counseling services to people in times of crisis.
